Hyper Octave

A game originally made for the 2025 GMTK Game Jam.

Use the loop Creator to create a music loop. The loop you create will determine what actions you take and when.

Volume on is highly recommended

Controls:

• Loop Maker
• A and D or Left and Right to change currently selected beat
• Buttons on screen to add action
• In-Level
  • WASD or Arrow Keys to move
  • Hold space to look ahead
  • Attacking and Dodging happens automatically based on your created drum loop

Credits:

• All in-game sounds were made using SoundTrap online music studio.
• All in-game visuals were created using GIMP or in Unity directly
• Thanks to Unit02Games on Youtube for their Hotline Miami Unity Tutorial which served as an inspiration for this project
